The Details
Overall Miles and Cost:
At 3.75 a gallon in my 2003 Toyota Corolla driving a total of 1320 miles , I can expect to spend $165 dollars in gas. Allowing myself $100 every night of hotel stay, and $40 dollars a day on food and drink, that equal $765 total cost of food, stay, and travel. Given the randomness of travel expenses, I've decided to set aside $1,000 dollars even for the trip. Go big or go home!
